That’s because most politicians have zero principles. They go to Washington and fall in line with their party because they want the party to support them in the next election with their money.eve
The original Congress did not get along ever they used to shoot each other and fight lol. They had real arguments about constitutionality.
ok so if we agree that the ship has sailed then why is Massie fighting a battle thats already lost.

and most importantly what is his solution. his only solution like a lot of the hardcore libertarians is to be against everything.
he prides himself on voting no on everything and badmouthing everyone that tries to get something done.

I am a libertarian in sympathies but at some point i realized that holding the high ground with my 3 percent like minded people was never going to get anything done here.

I think his solution is that the real ID unnecessary and stop the forced implementation. Seems like a reasonable solution to me. This plan was supposed to be implemented years ago and never has been and we’ve been pretty safe without it. In your opinion what is gained for everyone to get this Yellow star on thier license? Perhaps this is just an inconvenience, but what next inconvenience are we all going to be forced to take? And just be told “do it” because that ship has sailed?

i absolutely agree with that . we fought this crap when they rolled it out post 911. they've slowly worked it in one level at a time.
until now the biggest problem with real ID is its redundant . So i do agree its unnecessary.

the good thing before was you could still opt out . if you didnt want to be in the database don't fly. For now the cause is lost.
Massie could work to have it overturned. To do so however he would have to build a political coalition. He is not the coalition type

That’s a good point. It’s sad that there’s no constitutional coalition. 😞

Tariffs good if Trump says they are on✔️

Tariffs aren't good if Trump says they're off ✔️

Do you understand how unhinged this all is?
Honestly, I think this is why the China tariffs are on hold.

“President Trump's 90-day pause on his "reciprocal" tariffs for countries that did not retaliate—excluding China—has allowed Tim Cook's Apple to ramp up production of smartphones, tablets, and laptops in India and Vietnam.”

Sources familiar with Apple's supply chains told Nikkei Asia that top suppliers in India were instructed to ramp up iPhone production. Yet the people noted that factory utilization rates were already at maximum levels, making it challenging to bring on significant amounts of new production.

Trump is feeling the pressure.
