Wouldn't bribes be given to keep prices high? I realize that's the Democrat way, getting paid under the table. New paradigm. A president who is fighting for the average citizen, and he's not a Democrat.

I just read the great news about Trump signing the order to lower the prices of prescription drugs and I then came here to post that @Next Day Err would find something bad to say about it but it looks like I’m to late. He never disappoints.

thats not necessarily a contradiction . The tariffs would be designed to force production to move back in the united states. thats not only good for this country but good for our national security.
The EO on prescription drug prices is along the same line. drug companies would not be able to charge the united states anymore than they charge other countries citizens.
both policies are designed to ensure our citizens get a fair shake on drug pricing both address that fact that the US has been treated unfairly by the globalists

there is a process for the president accepting large expensive gifts from other countries that is there to ensure we dont offend those countries. So Trumps plan to use it as a temporary air force one then donate to the presidential library would seem to be in line with the legal requirements.
Under the Foreign Gifts and Decorations Act, the U.S. President can accept expensive gifts from foreign leaders but must report those valued over $480 to the State Department. These gifts become U.S. property and are typically stored by the National Archives, used officially, or donated. The President can buy a gift at market value to keep it personally. The Constitution’s Emoluments Clause prevents personal retention without Congressional approval. Gifts are disclosed annually in the Federal Register. Low-value or perishable gifts may be kept or shared.
