Looking at the back of that package car, which mine use to look like almost everyday, I don't miss it. Thanks God for feeders.

Is that Rods Rookie year photo on top ?? Or maybe Cosmo ??

I did drive a package car like that one of my first Christmas peaks but I didn't have to wear a bow tie (although there were still a half a dozen of them sitting in lockers available to wear). A fellow driver at the time always wore one of those "bus driver" hats.

UPS has certainly changed since I got out. Some of the package cars we met on the road during our last road trip to the Ozarks a few weeks ago looked like they hadn't been washed in years. They reminded me of the old dirty "Railroad Express" trucks that used to run around here before that company folded.
