I agree it was a slow episode but episode 1 and 2 of Season 4 were also and the rest of the season made up for it. Seeing Carl act like a loner and almost getting himself killed twice was good.
The coolest part was that Michonne dream. At first I thought it was a flashback until you see her cutting fruit with her sword and putting it back into the cutting board. Very original.

Does Michone's sword ever need sharpening? It gets a lot of action. I could see her in a Ginsu commercial. "It slices, it dices...makes Jullienne fries! I'm not sure if I saw my son in last night's show, I thought I saw him in the background for a second in one scene. There is another walker extra that looks just like him, I have been fooled before. He came by yesterday, he stated that he didn't know if he would be in this episode or not.
This is a 9MM shell my son picked up off the ground in the episode where he met his girlfriend. It was used in that scene when the Governor attacked the prison the first time
. She was the second walker out of the back of the truck of zombies that crashed through the gate
