This is something I couldn't understand. Rick is supposed to get the axe and here it is mysteriously on top on the RV. Rick ignores it and goes off and plays with zombies for a while, then finds it somewhere else.

They were showing a lot of what was on Ricks mind, so I think that's why they showed the ax next to his head?

I like them. Didn't at first though. I think many people make the mistake of forming their opinions and perceptions on them based on the characters on The Walking Dead.
