I wish we had a few more investment options .Unfortunately you cannot transfer from one to the other until you retire.

A few managed funds, maybe an emerging market fund.Such as?

You can buy almost any mutual fund you want to through the SMA.I don't know if those options are offered through the SMA.

Yep. Instead of just wasting less money.You need to decide if you want the tax break now or when you retire.
I personally think the govt will start going after our 401k's for much needed tax revenue.

I have an uncle that is a private investor. Works out of his home and does VERY well. I need to get with him.At this point you are probably best off letting the pros do this work for you through your 401k.

By "pro" you mean Edward jones guy? LolAt this point you are probably best off letting the pros do this work for you through your 401k.
