November 2020 when Trump was still in office it was 1.86%
May 2021 when Biden was office it was 3.68%
November 2021 it went up to 7.12%
May 2022 it went up to 9.62%.

But when the market melodon in 2009 and my funds was cut all over 50% it was pretty hard to watch.

I get that. But many people do not get a cost of living raise.
So tighten your belt up a little bit more and spend your money wisely and be thankful for God you didn't buy Bitcoin last year

401s are ok, it's mutual funds that are the scam. Being required to buy a bunch of companies that have no fundamental quality, but the funds add them anyway.
