Trump on Unions now elected ON TOPIC!!!!!!! PLease

this sounds like an interesting story....... do tell. How the heck does a scab get voted in?
Crossed back in the day, realized his mistake and worked every day thereafter to be the best teamster he could be. He was a good BA and did well in the role. Some won't let it go, others appreciated his efforts and forgave him. @104Feeder was a big supporter of him as well, and he's one of the best stewards I've known. Still bounce stuff off of him even though he's retired.

Each has their opinion and I can appreciate both sides.

It's good to hear that. I'm not sure if I could forgive that unless I truly believed the change of heart. I grew up in an anti union household and didn't join myself at first. It didn't take long to realize how wrong I was and never looked back; even spending about 20ish years as a steward myself. Any steward or BA that can leave the office with a good reputation must've done something right lol

Did well in the role?

The reason he was relieved of his duties was because he was doing :censored2:.

Its not the case what so ever. This guy was in my building and was a scumbag of the highest order.

Ask these guys why he was fired? I am sure they will try and spin this as well.

ah,,,, so two sides of a story then?
I mean you tell me.. you got a hypocrite scab admonishing other teamsters what it’s like to be a “real teamster”

These guys try and twist it how he made a “mistake” and learned from it.

Bull:censored2:.

He turned his back on every teamster who stood in solidarity.

He never did a “fine job” Dude was let go for neglecting his duties as a BA and a teamster. He had turned his back yet again on the other members who needed his help.

After being fired from his BA job he came back to package with his tail between his :censored2:ing legs then retired in shame.

Not how I understood it at all, but I don't claim to know everything. I do know he was far better that the two that have followed, without question.

You mean the kids that are in there now? One of them being a relative to Karla.
One thing I found hard to fathom was that as I got older, everyone is now a kid. Used to be me but not anymore. The next generation, is coming, whether they’re ready or not. I would imagine if the members are unhappy or feel there’s nepotism going on and someone didn’t deserve a job they can always vote a different group in.

Neither one of them were even at top pay when made BA. They are kids.

Our BAs are not voted in.

No, the one that took over directly for D, he was a 30+ year guy who retired last year. The one we have now in that same role has not impressed many as of yet, as far as I've heard, but he still has time in my mind.

It's honestly too big of a job for one BA to handle effectively in my mind.

Not voted in in my local either. They are appointed. I was saying you could vote in leadership altogether the membership doesn’t feel those in charge now are doing their job well enough. I don’t know your situation at your local, but it is not super easy to find people who want to be a business agent who are at top scale now.
