I heard numbers from 130 to 140 yards so 136 would be right in that range. Fairly easy shot with a good rifle from the prone position.

Reminds me of the local cop I saw pulling someone over. Woman probably five feet tall and 250-300 pounds waddling over to this car. I thought holy. The only way she's enforcing anything on anyone is if they let her.

they're normal process would be to identify the roof as an issue and either post one of their own or clear those buildings of any threats and then seal off access to them. that didnt happen.
it seems and I am speculating that since there were several rooftops in that spot that they would have had a team up on one of those roofs.
the flag draped area at trumps feet on the stage is bullet proof. the protection is set up to shield the president from the front. that does no good if you allow a bad guy to take a shot from behind you.

it actually was not a bad shot if he rushed it because of the police officer. what probably saved trump is he turned his head at the right time.
