Most people don’t care about any of this stuff as long as they have the newest iPhone and a party to go to on the weekend! They’re going to do whatever they want and most people either won’t care or won’t do anything about it except complain. We were never going to be 1984. We were always going to be A brave New World. They don’t need to force most people, they’ll do it willingly as long as they get their Soma.

Average of 10k is spent frivolously per year. Coffee food clothes with tags. Over a decade its 100k. How many people you know with 100k in bank? How many people complain and they are buying nonsense. What could they do with that $?
