everything we buy from china i dont have to buy. my food and my gas are US produced. I have plenty of clothes dont need to buy anymore anytime soon. My house is completely kept up so i don't need to do any major improvements anytime soon.

what prices have gone up as a result? if you guys are all going to argue that we're in financial trouble because the stock market went down the past week then i should be able to argue that this tariff plan has had no affect on anything else. If you're going to argue that it will affect future pricing then i should be able to argue the possible future benifits of this plan.

They would never get away with a 10% sales tax because the president doesn’t have power over that. 10% consumption tax on all goods through tariffs is very possible for a president to do. Though as they are seeing it has much more negative effects than a sales tax would.
