I’m part Jewish. I certainly don’t hate Jews. Having said that it is heartbreaking. What is happening. Innocent people are always caught in the crosshairs of other peoples poor decisions. They have no control over. Having said that I don’t have the answer to fix a problem that has thousands of years of history behind it. Just a sad situation all the way around.
Heart breaking is a good word.

I feel so terrible for the children.

Israel has a right to defend themselves though, especially after October 7th. That was an unacceptable action. It can’t be allowed or normalized

Sometimes it seems like they’re both :censored2:s though who want to wipe eachother out and there’s no easy answer.

Well ya Islam is evil.
The people in the areas called Palestine support the terrorists. They're raised from birth to be evil.

Raised from birth to perpetuate ignorance. Giving power to leaders. who make sure they’re constantly homeless and at war. Most of the big dogs who ran Hamas don’t even live there. Pretty sure Qatar is a beautiful place.

I can’t remember who it was, but some politician proposed that anyone who votes for war should have to serve in it also. Not a bad idea

I remember reading stories about George Washington in the midst of battle getting shot at, bullet holes in his jacket

Yup. Some people are brainwashed and thinking everyone in palenstine is “evil”. You can be put to death for just speaking up against Hamas

These guys are truly brave for speaking up
But those same speaking up against Hamas are also likely to suppress women's rights and kill gays. They're against Hamas now because Hamas, which the large majority supported in polling, convinced them they would ultimately defeat Israel. Now they realize the mistake they made supporting Hamas and what it cost them.

Very true. I would much rather have an Israeli as a neighbor than a palenstine if I had to choose

Can’t put too much credence in Hamas polling though, hard enough getting accurate representation in America polling, let alone a country like that with rutheless villains like Hamas breathing down your neck

That happened during the French and Indian War where he barely escaped dying in the Braddock Massacre that saw almost 1000 killed or wounded out of a force of 1400. I doubt he put himself in harms way during the Revolution. Too important to the cause.

The issue is leftist lemmings are brainwashed into thinking Palestinians are a redeemable people.

They're all islamists, and Islam is evil.
That's all there is to it.

I was going to ask you because I figured you knew. I think I remember it was an Indians recap of the story, basically saying he believed George Washington had something special protecting him, because he swore he shot at him directly multiple times but every bullet missed him, which didn’t make sense

Probably sensationalized, but still a cool read

Not everyone being polled approved of Hamas. So I think a majority did. And it was certainly evident from the celebrations on October 7th, 2023 when Hamas fighters returned with captives including some dragged through the streets.

I'd think a lot more voters would feel pain from price increases than would feel relief from income tax reductions since income tax rates are progressive and the lower brackets already pay little to nothing. Hope this won't become an open invitation for the blue haired folks to retake power.
fair point . the current system also favors the rich since they have the resources to maximize every tax savings available.

You cannot use this site to declare an entire people to be evil purely based on their geographic location, or government they are under. Or their religion.

If you want to believe that, that's fine. If you want to say that, fine. Just not here.
I will ban you.

Yet if you go to a Muslim majority country like Malaysia or Indonesia you'll find they practice a much milder form of Islam and they will treat you very well. Or go to Central Asia where the majority in some countries have Muslim ancestors but today they're Muslim in name only. Was something their great-grandparents did. There are millions of Muslims in the U.S. who are living peaceful lives. There are almost 2 million Muslims in Israel living peaceful lives. I don't agree with their religion and I do worry about the extremist element but Israel is getting along well with most of the Muslim countries around them these days.

He had at least one horse shot out from under him. In spite of all the nobility we accord Washington he did the prudent thing in that battle like everyone else. He ran for his life. Looked it up, 977 British and provincial dead and wounded to the Indians 39.
