That’s Craptacular
I consider it a mix of ability, military service and mad skillz.

Shame on you. Let the rookies or incompetent oil checkers do it.

Naw, our mechanic told me they ran out of cam before they over-revved and try as I might I couldn't get it to overheat.

Shoot, I had one a few years earlier that wouldn't hold oil for all the leaks. One day I got tired of it rattling, and stopped and put 6 quarts in it. Never missed a beat.

I liked the 4.9 injected version in the P32s, but they would gobble up sparkplugs with the extremely long tip they used. Never any problems except for one that would balloon oil filters.

So, I went through regional training recently, I won't disclose the area. More of a very condensed version of integrad..

Only real test to pass, 5 seeing habits, 10 point commentary...that's it. And a couple safety rides. And the cbts..

Why are they hiring just anybody...people there in uniforms they put on right out of the bag(it was obvious), unshaven, most of the class didn't even have uniforms. Unpolished boots, and very lost...am I missing something here?

I come from a military background, so I take pride in my uniforms and boots, I'm here to get the job done and learn it to run efficiently...alot of lost souls in the class, and I don't think they know what they are in for...

It's just confusing to me...setup for failure from the start

Sounds about right to me.

Thirty years ago UPState was in the Air Force. He wants you to know this, because it makes him feel superior to you - a mere civilian.
Whether you like the man or not, it ain't cool to belittle a mans Service Record.
Also in the 70's and 80's if an applicant had been in the service that often caught the eye of HR for Off the Street Drivers.

I have two brother inlaws that served. One a Marine the other national guard. Both fought in the Middle East.

The one in the national guard went thru and saw a lot worse :censored2: than the marine.
My brother's a Marine...He went through a lot of :censored2: in his 2 tours of Iraq. But I disagree with OU Thug....the Air Force is still the military. Now the Coast Guard....maybe lil different story...

Debatable. My wife's step-father was Coast Guard on a destroyer escort, and saw time in both the Atlantic and Pacific in WWII.

And back then, DE's were basically decoy targets.

In Seattle/Redmond they are hiring off the street for drivers due to the fact they have exhausted the part time ranks. Looking for 100 drivers in the Redmond building alone before peak. Advertising on the radio for drivers. Have never seen this in my 25 years. Crazy.
