If 22.4’s are eliminated, that alone is huge.
That and cameras, no 6th punch… those are 3 things that everyone wanted. It’s too bad that we even had to waste time bargaining over them but that’s what hoff/Denis thought we’re good for the membership…unfortunately it’s going be what upsers remember them for.

kind of a joke since it was a Teamster idea to protect high seniority drivers
First, it’s a new regime, out with the old in with the new.

Secondly, they were originally supposed to be used as combo jobs not necessarily full-time lower pay drivers every day. You could argue that’s just as much the fault of shortsighted union contractual language, and I wouldn’t disagree with that, but it needed to go.

How are 22.4s gonna be slotted into seniority list. Does the seniority start from when they were cover drivers or their first 22.4 day? How about guys that went from PT to RPCD while there were 22.4 already in the building; are they gonna get bumped?

When they were hired, how did someone go from part-time to RPCD?
