My nephew started about 6 months ago as a package handler and is in the Metro College program at the hub. He was telling me his health insurance benefits do not start until after he's been here for a year - is this true? I thought it was 90 days?

Back in the day before I started it was. When I started it was 1 year for the worker and 18 months for their family. I think it was changed in the new contract to 1 year for worker and their family.
