I don't claim to be an economical savant by any means, but the reality is this could work. By trimming the fat and becoming more efficient, it could pave a road back to increased volume. More efficiency offers wider margins, wider margins allows sales teams to more aggressively pursue customers, returning much of the lost volume at a higher profit. Just maybe.
