The year I went FT I had bid Thanksgiving week off. I got paid my driver rate and kept the vacation week. It was nice.

Does your center use seasonals for peak? You may be able to get the weeks off, my center is always looking for drivers to take dead days so they can get the seasonals some on road training.
Your vacation for this year was warned by working last year. So you will get paid 20 hours of whatever your preload rate is.
