I remember when we used to get 500 to 1000 dolllar bonus check for voting in the contract. Part timers got 500 after taxes 289 bucks

Most PT don't earn enough to even pay taxes. Have a family and you qualify for Earned Income Credit.

Dude I know. When I started here in 1989 The starting wage was 9.00 a hour. Back then minimum wage was like 3.75. It was the job to have as a part time worker.

Because it was a Union job and paid better then non Union jobs and with benefits. Somewhere this has been lost. The reason I voted NO one more time. I knew it was a lost cause.

The IBT would never allow that to happen. Just like the IBT will impose this contract.

It was reported that 39% of eligible members voted on the 2013 master, I'm guessing that with the turnover there were not 240k eligible.
