Going way back now.....

I had 3rd row tickets to one of Neil Young's shows back around 1985. Found out on the radio a few weeks before the show that he canceled it because of poor ticket sales.
Radio stations here played a lot of "Southern Rock" at the time and I think Neil's negative references to the south in some of his songs and Lynyrd Skynyrd's response to him in "Sweet Home Alabama" kept the masses away. I was so disappointed.
He hasn't scheduled a date here since.
