My local didn't have a single issue with this. And still doesn't. They ask for volunteers and either they get them or not. No forced at all.

Still being required to work a 6th punch here in local 639 (same local that allowed 6th punches for peak) Had a force in list this week. Then got called into the office to be told personally I'm required to work.

It seems like a nightmare that's never gonna end. I'm not coming. Contract is the contract.

You don't have to be disciplined to file a grievance. If you feel the contract is being violated you file. It's really as simple as that.

The local said they filed on behalf of each building and it’s waiting to go to co-chair committee thing. Some people are filing Individual but the issue will be heard at co chair level and there is no pay penalty.
