I signed up and then requested the day off on 1/2.

I am puzzled as to why someone thought that this was funny as I was 100% serious. I signed up for 12/31 and let them know that I would like to take 1/2 off in return.

They put everyone on call in our center. The even manage to make our days off a pain.

How can they ,put you on call?

Sign up for a holiday pay+OT rate day and take a straight time day off. Easy math.

And I'm off New Years Eve and New Years Day lol

Full time drivers that are not air drivers get 1.5x pay all air drivers or air support staff(bb58 preload employees) will be paid at straight time. Unless your supplemental says different. Full time drivers 1.5 pay and can request guarantee 8 the day prior.
