Well it does take a long time . You go through many stages in your life.
I really can't put the words to it.
You learn to be a little bit more tolerant of each other and you love each other a little bit more And that will overcome most things

The big downside to that though is if something happens to either of you, the other has no say in any medical decisions or financial decisions. Lots of partners have been unfairly kicked out by families.

Everyday after he got sick they would go for a walk up and down the street
Old man owns a bunch of farm ground
In western Kansas worth several million dollars kid rarely came around until he figured out how to get at that money
Worthless POS I’d like to beat his ass
