In NJ , we were supposed to get only an inch but the storm started acting differently than forecasted right after Joe Biden shut up a couple of House Representatives and officially declared Trump the winner of the Electoral votes.

Now in NJ we are being hit by a bunch of howling snowflakes. Will they ever give up?

Why would anybody cheap out and buy a 2 wheel drive pickup---no matter where you live?
Every truck I have owned had 4WD .
I follow the advice of being prepared .
I would rather have and not need , then need and not have.
I really need that 4WD today , mostly to get around so many slow pokes on the road . If you're going to drive on a salted and plowed road doing 15 mph you should just park it & walk .

Both pick ups I ever owned were 2wd. There were only a couple of times I ever wished they were 4wd and I live in an area known for heavy snows. What matters is how you drive.

I had a 2WD Datsun that could go almost anywhere. What made the difference was the manual transmission. And knowing I would have very little traction in bad weather so I drove accordingly.

I also had a 4WD and could count on 1 hand how often I needed that bit of extra each year.

I agree about how you drive and having common sense. Also having a good set of snow tires and some weight in the box. 4WD is great for off road driving but I try to keep most of my driving on the road. Seen way too many 4WD cowboys and soccer moms driving way too fast for the road conditions only to end up in the ditch or against a tree because they could not stop as fast as they can go.

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge

I drive an Outback now. It's easy to get the Superman complex with AWD.
