I am benefiting from my dad's sacrifice, he would approve. I've got several pictures of him and me next to my UPS truck and he is grinning ear to ear, and one of the most excited I've ever seen him was when he got to ride in a UPS truck. He thought that was the coolest thing ever

Interesting fact---If at all possible all freeways have to have one mile of straight roadway for every 5 miles of road. These straight stretches are for use during war time as runways.

Yes he did ... it was proposed and passed as a military preparation initiative but it really helped the USA to develop a strong logistical background.
