1 Peter 3:21 says ONLY baptism saves.
Luke 13:3 says ONLY repentance will save .
Romans 10:9 says ONLY confession will save.

None of these passages have believe in them.
What now?
You are taking away by saying John 3:16 is it.
You fail to believe and obey the whole council of God.
You continue to pervert the gospel. Gal. 1: 6-9
Why is there no desire in you to actually study John 3 as well as other passages?

A quick scan doesn't tell me who the target recipients were. I've heard they were Christians who were contemplating turning back to unbelief. So the book was written to try and convince them to keep believing.

Again I may be wrong. Maybe getting a few books confused.

I have not received any spiritual discernment regard this scripture at this stage of my spiritual journey so I will leave this to the learned theologians to decide.

I find it difficult to believe that someone would stake their eternal salvation on one verse and one verse only and not even be interested in finding out the context of that verse in the chapter it was written.
