The company makes enough off pickups like that, you could be there all day as long as you make the last feeder.

It may be more cost effective to park an empty trailer and swap it out.

That's one of the many reasons or center doesn't want a CPU run. That and the fact that our local could care less about extended centers.

I said that at the last meeting I went to. All I got was looks that might as well have said "But we won't get everything we want that way!" It was all hub employees and I was the only extended guy.

I had a route once where I would deliver a little over 500 three times a week, pickups ran from 500-650 regularly.

They been with us since the last 3 yrs from what I noticed. Not sure if they switch it up from area to area.

Sucks for you guys lol.

We used to hit them with anywhere from 60 to 100 boxes every few days. In our area they went private freight years ago...maybe 4 years
