I was thinking more like Jim Crow and slavery.
Every month the sheriff of my county publishes a list of deadbeat dads thousands behind on their child support payments. Most have simply run away and can't be easily found. Now what do you think we should do with them? Dig a ditch line them up and drop them in it? Send them off to the gas chamber? Likewise, how many of the mothers faced with no other option are now on public assistance?

The truly innocent one is the dutiful taxpayer faced with the prospect of a tax increase to pay for the care of unwanted children. Those unwanted kids will be wards of the state cared for under Medicaid which repugs are hell bent on making major funding cuts to leaving it up to the states and local governments to makeup the shortfall which could result in major state and local tax increases. When local and state governments are driven into bankruptcy by the exploding costs of mandated social services....you tell me what do you think should be done?

You can offer all the extreme points of view you want but they don't matter as long as you continue to sidestep the question of where the money will come from to pay for all the services those unwanted kids will require. My county has to operate and pay for such services through CYS. It's funding needs have resulted in the need for a 300% increase in it's budget in the span of just one year which resulted in huge cuts in other county services along with the largest county tax increase the law will allow. Yet rest assured when not if but when it happens in your municipality you'll be the one hollering the loudest.

Yes, hang your head in sorrow. This way when it explodes when you see your county tax bill others might not be hurt by flying debris. Yes you are expected to take responsibility for your actions. Trouble is there are those who won't and so in the end where does the neglected child and in some cases the neglected and the battered or drug addicted mother end up? Wards of state and the expense of caring for them falls onto the public because state law supported by the state constitution requires it. Overturn the 1973 RvW decision? Ok .but get out your wallet and be ready to pay like you never expected to pay .....and rich people will still get abortions because they have access to money and travel to the countries where abortion is available.
