As a matter of fact my father was both a Sunday School superintendent a bible reading professing Christian as well as a compulsive wife beater who turned his kids into procreated farm slaves from the time they could walk and in an effort to better assure himself of a secure retirement filed for divorce after 40 years of marriage and tried to have my mother evicted from the property.

I learned to deal with such challenges with the most effective means there is. Learning to think for myself. While I have encountered people of genuine faith who have made major contributions toward the betterment of mankind what I have neither time nor respect for are those who wave a piece of ancient verses written by nomadic tribes wandering around in the desert thousands of years ago in front of my face trying to frighten me with the prospect of eternal damnation unless I conform to their beliefs.

Far better and more profitable places to practice medicine in the US than the Backward State of Alabama and the newly passed anti abortion bill will do nothing to improve the state's relationship with the medical profession. Already a shortage of primary care physicians in the nation's rural areas and competition among states for doctors willing to practice in those areas will likely grow more intense.

From my perspective if the court wants to overturn Roe vs Wade that's fine but when thousands of aborted fetuses are found in garbage dumpsters children born into a culture of poverty with so conditions so impoverished that they can never escape it and to parents who didn't want them to begin with are woefully unfit to be a parent and treat the kid accordingly this will not be on my conscience. Not to mention fragile state budgets broken under the crushing weight of an exploding and out of control demand for healthcare services with only so much in the way of services and public money to go around this will all be on you.

Then tell me something. Just what specific measures are you willing to take in support of your anti abortion stance? if RvW is overturned there will be consequences. Among them will almost certainly be a huge increase in the demand for social workers and pediatric health care professionals, district attorney's ,public defenders and judges to prosecute the additional child abuse and neglect cases jails to house the victims probation officers to handle them when they get out and the most of all the public funds to pay for it all.

A reality you continue to not just ignore but run away from.

If a couple, a couple you don't even know wants to end a pregnancy through a safe and lawful means and are willing to pay for it out of their own pocket , whose business is it beside their own? Despite the fact that you are a self appointed defender of the unborn what right do you have to interfere especially given that you enthusiastically joined an organization whose stated mission is to kill people while condemning those who didn't do the same as you?
