Here's what I'm trying to understand about the Alabama abortion. How come the 25 white males responsible for passage of the law voted to jail the attending physician for 99 years while allowing the WOMAN who actually chose to seek an abortion to go scot free? After all the doctor is not the ONLY person in the room when this now illegal act is being performed. If the doctor is jailed for performing this act shouldn't the woman be jailed as well?

Because if you target the women you turn them into victims and ramp up the rhetoric for pro-choice people. If you target the doctors and the practice itself it has marketability to voters. It’s really simple stuff, market it to sway public opinion.
Also highlight in bold is a lie, we’ve all watched the old white lady sign it into law and defend the bill, not that it matters.

surely concern for the unborn was never considered in victimizing the female. in fact the rights of the unborn are never considered in the liberal sphere.
Before she could sign it they had to first pass it. As for the second part. When that woman goes to that abortion clinic she has to first sign a consent form. A form whereby she CONSENTS as an adult to have the procedure performed. If that doesn't make her just a culpable as the doctor what else does ?

Still not answering the question of why the woman doesn't have to go to jail when she was a willing participant a consenting adult signed a legal consent form out of her own free will and volition? Being that it's Alabama perhaps they just want her to pray for forgiveness go back home to the kitchen bake cookies as part of a powerless life of complete servitude to her husband ( probably an arranged marriage to her brother) and using a phrase I've heard often but never understood " Grow in Christ" . Whatever that means.

because the babies life does not count as an issue
my biggest concern with abortion is also my biggest regret. that being that we can retroactively apply this right to those who argue the loudest for the procedure. i would for instance respect your opinion more if we could now go back and abort you shortly after conception.
