because the babies life does not count as an issue

my biggest concern with abortion is also my biggest regret. that being that we can retroactively apply this right to those who argue the loudest for the procedure. i would for instance respect your opinion more if we could now go back and abort you shortly after conception.
The problem is I presented you guys with a valid question . Why isn't the woman also being sent to jail if she is a legal adult resident, seeks to have the procedure performed , freely signs a lawful consent form authorizing the procedure without duress as a consenting adult? Why isn't she going to jail ?. After all she went and sought out the services of the attending physician . He didn't come looking for her. Bet nobody's ever presented the matter to you from this perspective before.

It's no red herring . It's a valid legal question. When two consenting adults equal participants in the conduct of an illegal act in an equally willful manner why does one go to jail while the other walks out the door scot free? Rest assured this provision will be tested in the courts. A clear miscarriage of justice if not flat out discriminatory.

Please answer my valid question.
@bacha29 That's right. It is about the right to choose but your comments clearly support denying a woman the right to choose

it may be a valid legal question but its totally irrelevant to determining the rights of the unborn.

Because if you target the women you turn them into victims and ramp up the rhetoric for pro-choice people. If you target the doctors and the practice itself it has marketability to voters. It’s really simple stuff, market it to sway public opinion.

Also highlight in bold is a lie, we’ve all watched the old white lady sign it into law and defend the bill, not that it matters.
The Doctor penalty is so harsh it is silly.
The Alabama case will be counteracted and ruled Unconstitutional and the SCOTUS will not take that case up.
Look for Georgia or one of the other more reasonable laws to be ruled Unconstitutional and the SCOTUS will take that case up ... maybe.
Alabama is dead in the water and a waste of taxpayers' money
