Is this Saturday thing happening everywhere? Or just in my district?
Starting in socal in a few months also. Should be interesting. We were told "you are expected to work with management during this transition." Whatever that means.
We're starting in a couple weeks at my building in so cal. was told were not going to work 6 days. those who are forced to work saturday will be scheduled off monday. mondays will be very light for awhile which is going to be awesome.
I predict a lot of "flu" on Saturdays. It means that this is uncharted territory for both sides and we need to patient as there will be growing pains.
Anyone that takes a dead, should be forced in on SaturdayI predict a lot of "flu" on Saturdays.
The routes should be bid M-friend or T-S.What I'm curious about is say you have a Freight route where businesses are only open Monday through Friday. They force you to work T-S I would think those guys would fight that. You bid that route and it's yours. Now they are saying you don't get to run it?

They certainly chop enough routes in Monday. It couldn't really work that way. They could bid on a T-S job position but the Saturday route would be different than the rest of the week.
Maybe they could do it with one of the routes that is always out on Mondays though.
