I know it very well, we are only required to show “some” lunch but nice try Wally!Baboo25 doesn't know his contract very well. Local 710, stop being weak! Clamp down on these drivers not taking the full hour!

Do you see the word required anywhere on there? If you are going to make statements about your contract, wouldn't it be prudent to know what it says? Not so for Baboon25. lol
Read the entire article. No where do you read the words optional. The language describes a hour break.Do you see the word required anywhere on there?
9 out of 10 times this is a dishonest statement. The 10 time is from the young and inexperienced quoting from the dishonest ones.I know it very well, we are only required to show “some” lunch but nice try Wally!
Give shove it sidewaysStop embarrassing yourself
You are so wrong, feel free to contact 710 union hall and ask them.9 out of 10 times this is a dishonest statement. The 10 time is from the young and inexperienced quoting from the dishonest ones.
Have you looked at state law? Sounds like your local might be opening themselves to a class action lawsuit for saying “you only need show a lunch”.You are so wrong, feel free to contact 710 union hall and ask them.
UPS tried to make us take 10 minutes 4 years ago, “some” was the agreement.Read the entire article. No where do you read the words optional. The language describes a hour break.
Been this way for 4 years, worry about yourself.Have you looked at state law? Sounds like your local might be opening themselves to a class action lawsuit for saying “you only need show a lunch”.
You are the reason ups needs to lockout your diad during lunch. Because showing a lunch is not taking a lunch. You are showing your lack of experience, again.Been this way for 4 years, worry about yourself.
Once again I take what I put in, how hard is that to understand? You are the reason ups needs to lockout your diad during lunch. Because showing a lunch is not taking a lunch. You are showing your lack of experience, again.
So then locking out the diad during lunch is not an issue.Once again I take what I put in, how hard is that to understand?
Yet you accuse me of dishonesty, in your eyes I’m dishonest and a runner just because I don’t take full lunch. You seem bitter that you are required to take a full lunch, I know i would be.So then locking out the diad during lunch is not an issue.
So what’s your point? What is the law regarding breaks and meal periods?
An employee who is to work 7 1/2 continuous hours or more shall be provided a meal period of at least 20 minutes. The meal period must be given to an employee no later than 5 hours after beginning work. Illinois has no law regarding breaks. For more information, visit the ODRISA page. (820 ILCS 140/3)
We used to be able to do that. We would get paid for all time worked. Those days are over for us. One hour of break must be in the diad.I find that very hard to believe , not even one day you skipped your lunch to get home to something important?
Doesn’t help your positionSo what’s your point?
Your said “show a lunch”.Yet you accuse me of dishonesty, in your eyes I’m dishonest and a runner just because I don’t take full lunch. You seem bitter that you are required to take a full lunch, I know i would be.
What?Your said “show a lunch”.
