Fascism is definitely a brand of socialism, especially economically. Just because they give the illusion of private sectors, doesn’t mean there is a private sector. True free markets cannot exist in a fascist regime under a dictator with a centralized planned economy.
Communism doesn’t bother with the illusion of free markets, private property is abolished. Everything is centralized and controlled by the government. It also comes with violent purges of the old aristocracy and property owners, fascist governments have done this to, but it’s not necessary.

I looked into it a bit. Still not sure how Tom got wrangled into the whole thing, but I read about how social media sites are clamping down on qanon members. They realize that sort of thing only feeds the paranoia and gives it legitimacy, right? They think they are using water to extinguish the fire, but they grabbed a bottle of vodka.
