They only do one with me. Isn’t there a provision for over supervision. It’s grievable.
I had those 6 over the course of 8-10 years between 2009-2019. We had a division manager and center manager(s) who were determined to send a message to the entire group by riding with the stewards regularly.

Yeah they love using rides to signal everyone. They just meet me on route so they wouldn’t have to be there all day.

I've seen the company give 6 rides in one year to a driver.... with 6 different supes.

Are you sure you are really trying ?

My intent wasn't to attract attention. We were filing an elevated number of grievances and their reaction was to give us added attention. I believe the stewards and alternates (6 total stewards) were on a rotation for about 7-8 years.

The best drivers I've seen, knew every trick in the book. We were brutal on them.

One driver (on the 1st day) wore 3 pairs of long underwear and left the drivers door open all day.

Froze the guy out. Second day.... the supe gave up.

On a 3-day ride....

"Method them to death."

Works every time.

Absolutely. We have no other choice. And anyone even thinking about crossing realize one thing, when the strike is over you’ll be the first ones to be fired. Building level mgmt does not dislike the union, it’s corporate. Building level mgmt and the union work in unison. Their is disagreements but at the end of the day there is mutual respect. Management knows you’re a dead man/woman walking and they’ll pounce. You think the union will have your back 100% if you cross? Not a chance in hell. People have no idea about the side deals the union makes with the company regarding discipline. They’ll happily thrown one to the wolves to save someone else. And anyone that crosses will be thrown to the wolves. Might not happen right away, but the clock will be ticking.

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge
I will go up and sit in a chair holding a sign, I'm not marching in a circle like a heard of Buffalo though

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

Neither side respects a scab.
