I voted yes, and anyone who I talked to about the vote I told them they should vote yes as well as voting no would be like walking into a car dealership and telling them to lock the door behind you as you weren't leaving until you bought a car.

Don't want a strike, but I'm ready if it happens, and you don't negotiate without all the cards available.

Edit: There was also far too many people who didn't understand this wasn't a vote to strike, but a vote to be able to strike. Sadly my local sent out a letter telling people to vote yes, but they didn't word it clearly so people can interpret it as a vote to actually strike.

Any why is that??? Because I dont want to run the kind of hours that over the road gypos do??? You have some good info and seemed informed most of the time... then you throw something out like this leaving everyone thinking wtf??
