Arizona's anti-imigration law...

And let's not forget what these illegal alien welfare queens are doing to our public welfare system in taking money and public beenies from those who most need it!

When it comes to forcing the producers to surrender the product of their labor by force and coersion to the hands of a criminal gang and enterprise for the direct and indirect benefit of the takers (Ethan Powell and Ismael had it dead on right) I rarely take serious so many who always only stand on one side of the welfare argument and stomp their feet. Someone in another thread asked "who stole my country?" You stole it/are stealing it from yourself, that's who stole it!

No matter how you look at it. It's sad that small children have to be caught up in all of this.

Here is the video of the 2nd grade student, that admitted she is scared because her mother doesn't have papers.

(and to leave obama haters out of it, she was enrolled in School , and probably born in the US under the Bush era).

Definitly won't be an easy problem to solve. When you put faces into the this thread, it sure looks a bit different !

Sure does look sad when the Liberal media and Obama leg humpers put their spin on it...maybe they should show some rapes, murders, thefts, child molesting illegals also but i guess that does not fit the Messiahs agenda.

It just took one person to step up and do the right thing and now others are following Jan Brewers lead. Hey Obama...are ya listening or are you to busy kissing the Mexican presidents arse...and China's.

While Arizona faces the scorn of the White House and local governments across the country for its immigration law, lawmakers in several states are looking to follow the Grand Canyon State's lead.
Lawmakers and politicians in Texas, Rhode Island, Utah and Georgia are among those who, in the month since Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer signed the law, have announced plans to introduce similar legislation.
The officials say states need to take matters into their own hands to tackle illegal immigration and in turn reduce the taxpayer cost associated with large undocumented populations in their hospitals, schools and prisons. They draw inspiration directly from the Arizona law, bucking the trend of local and state officials who have protested Arizona and called for boycotts against the state.
Rhode Island state Rep. Peter Palumbo has filed a bill that looks nearly identical to Arizona's.
Palumbo, a Democrat, (wow!!! A democrat that actully has balls!!!) told Fox News that Arizona residents were "merely trying to protect themselves" and that the Rhode Island bill could help the state save millions every year.
"You don't need to be a ... border state to have problems with illegals," he said, estimating the number of undocumented residents in Rhode Island at 40,000.
Palumbo acknowledged that his state might not be as receptive as Arizona to such a bill. He said he's got about a half-dozen co-sponsors but hopes media coverage can build support.
"It's difficult. We have a lot of progressives in Rhode Island," he said.
Utah Rep. Stephen Sandstrom, a Republican, told the Deseret News, after the Arizona law was signed, that he's already drafting a bill based on the Arizona law for next year's session. He said Arizona's action makes similar action in Utah all the more necessary, because, "when we've seen tougher legislation in Arizona a lot of illegal immigrants just move here."
A Texas representative is looking to do the same in her state. And in Georgia, a Republican candidate for governor is pledging to work toward signing "similar legislation" if he's elected.
"I agree with the Arizona governor and Legislature that the federal government has failed miserably at protecting our borders and enacting sensible solutions that would protect our states, counties and cities from bearing the enormous costs associated with illegal immigration, from emergency room visits to public schools to the criminal justice system," said Nathan Deal.

Now, ICE said they don't want to help AZ deport people.....Morton needs to step down. Obama is just nullifying existing laws and he doesn't have that power....he's not god even though he thinks he is.

Yes, i just read that. Here is what Janet "all veterns are terrorits" Napolitano had to say:

Meanwhile, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano said ICE is not obligated to process illegal immigrants referred to them by Arizona authorities.
"ICE has the legal discretion to accept or not to accept persons delivered to it by non-federal personnel," Napolitano said. "It also has the discretion to deport or not to deport persons delivered to it by any government agents, even its own."

Again, who cares about enforcing the laws and protecting the citizens of America...it must be about kissing the Mexican presidents poop shoot and getting those future votes.

Now we need to know who applauded when Calderone said the new law was a bad law. I saw Biden and Pelosi clapping behind the FOREIGN president.

Mrs. Brewer I don't think just because you get a survey of 70% of people that agrees to law SB1070, that means that the law is constitutional, besides I don't know if you've seen the other numbers, but anyways. Listen, I'm not with any political party, neither Democrats nor Republicans. I don't even like politics. But, I believe in the principles of our Constitution. I see that this debate in here has been more of a political fight. I agree with Brewer on one thing. And that is, we should secure the border about illegal drugs and crimes. But, what does illegal immigration has to do with drug cartels? Really, we've been mixing things up; well not us, them. Also Mr. Calderon shouldn't be sticking his nose about American laws. But, I agree on his comment about racial profile or whatever you guys call it. But, that's something the US has to deal with, since I don't think Mr. Calderon knows the principles of the Constitution of the United States. About Mrs. Brewer, she is just a puppet of this guy Sheriff Mr. Arpaio. Time will show what I'm talking about. I've always seen these type of individuals fail. When this happens I'll go take a look at the Grand Canyon. I know most of you have a different opinion. But, that's just my perspective looking at a different angle out of all this political turmoil you're submerged to.

Good interview of Jan Brewer from Greta on Illegal immigration and asking Obama to "do your job"!!!

2 thumbs up for Jan Brewer and the good citizens of AZ!!!!

The law has been in existence for decades as a Federal law.......no one questioned the constitutionality 'til AZ did something to remedy their problem. Are you clapping for Calderone too !!

Again with the political stuff; I see you didn't read my thread. And please point to me a link where this Federal Law is. Have you read and compared both, or you're just repeating what you hear? And if there is an identical Federal Law like this one, which there's not. Why would they modify SB1070? Didn't they have a Federal Law as a backup to reinforce the law. Then why would they modify it with HB2162? I believe Mr. Arpaio or Mrs. Brewer or whoever that came up with the idea, should get this SB1070 along with HB2162 make a roll with both of them and throw'em to the trash or toilet. And start from scratch.

How can this thread not be political, the law, any law, is political.

The modification was to place addition assurances that racial profiling would not be an issue. After passing and signing 1070, the governor and state lawyers saw that there were gaps in protection of legal citizens from profiling and possible investigation with out probable cause or suspicions. HB2162 filled those gaps.

There is indeed a federal law...http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/8/usc_sec_08_00001325----000-.html

They did not say the AZ was exactly identical, what was said is the AZ mirrors the Fed Law, not the same thing. If fact the AZ law has the anti-profiling language and the fed law does not.
