Arizona's anti-imigration law...

You may think it's a laughing matter, but how are white people ever going to get ahead and be treated as equals in this country when attitudes like yours persist?

Because I've always been too "black" for the whites and too "black" for the whites so we may as well get to know each other and have a good laugh over it. :happy-very: Come to think of it, I'm not sure I know what that makes me...except probably more sane than most.

Mexican Drug Cartels Take Over Local Cities in L. A. County

WASHINGTON, May 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ —
According to 33-year veteran gang specialist and retired L.A. Sheriff’s Sergeant Richard Valdemar, Mexican drug cartels have been infiltrating city councils and political campaigns in many small cities in Los Angeles County.
Full Disclosure Network® is re-releasing a nine minute online video preview from a four-part series covering the Mexican Mafia gangs, drug cartels and the impact of illegal immigration in Southern California cities.
• Valdemar cited the following cities as having been infiltrated by the Mexican drug cartels: Lynwood, Bell Gardens, Hawaiian Gardens, South Gate, Huntington Park, Vernon, Cudahy.
• Drug cartels set up phony businesses to launder drug money, usually used car lots, used tire shops that serve as a “front” for their operations.
• Valdemar says it all starts when a small business, like a restaurant, is purchased by someone with drug money from Mexico, who sets up shop and starts inviting the city fathers to come for complimentary or discounted meals.
• Then invitations are extended to local police and other government officials, until the business operator is well established, with powerful friends.
• Drug money is used to send out smear campaign literature to destroy reputations of incumbent city council members and to finance the campaigns of challengers whose goal is to get a majority voting block on the city council.
• Once the drug cartel controls the city council, they fire the city attorney, city manager and start giving out contracts, like the trash collection contract, to their cronies.

This is exactly how all organized crime has operated for many many years in this country. The only difference between one cartel and another is the makeup of the members of the cartel (Mafia, anyone?) and which particular vice they make the money from. Drugs, prositution, liquor, all the same.

The mobs ran cities in the 20's during prohibition until we dropped prohibition and destroyed their business model. Maybe we ought to learn from that experience and destroy the cartels' business model vis a vis drugs? Legalize and tax. Use the taxes to support the schmoos who can't control their addiction. Put the rest into the general fund. I personally don't care what vices people indulge in, as long as they don't drug and drive, or operate heavy machinery.

You may be able to do that with pot but there are some bad drugs out there that have no business being legalized. There would have to be strict control and that doesn't solve the problem of black market. Look at oxycontin. It is a major black market item and it is under federal control. That has solved nothing.

I never thought I'd ever say this, but I could see legalizing pot JUST TO FREE UP THE COPS TO GET THE REAL CREEPS !!

I read your other post. The Mexican President is a politician or as I like to refer to these folks.... as "donkey". We have one here as well, he is the "donkey in chief". When politicians become donkeys to me is when they start talking out of both sides of their mouth OR when they stop representing the majority rule of their citizens. The donkey of Mexico talks about Arizona's law being a bad law but the immigration laws in Mexico are OK. I really think we should adopt the immigration laws of Mexico. Wonder where he stands on that issue? Mexico needs the $1 billion plus that is sent back there from it's illegal nationals who are working here. Our donkey gave him a stage to spit in our faces. Our donkey needs to go and the quicker the better. At the very least we can vote out his power base in November and let him flounder for the next two years. He only represents the uber-liberal Americans. He forgot that he was voted in to represent ALL of America!!! HEEE! HAW!

I have read and read. ....
Oh and my opinion about the law SB1070, I believe it's pure racism, or profiling or whatever the word you use to mask it. ....

Cato: "t is a smear to blame" immigrants for Arizona crime

Cato's Griswold: "t is a smear to blame low-skilled immigrant workers from Latin America for creating a crime problem in Arizona...
[/INDENT]

:blahblah::blahblah::blahblah:

Here is the cool part all you uber liberals don't get! All you can do is talk about Arizona!

Blah! Blah! Blah! I along with Dill are citizens of Arizona and we can Vote! Vote! Vote! So ..... we have the power! You have the talk!

Thank all the supporters out there. We will continue to lead the way so that maybe something will get done in your states as well. Our governors approval rating is through the roof right now!

So all you uber-liberals or as I like to say ... donkey lovers - See ya in November!!!

Post script - I am not talking for Dill, she can do just fine without me!

FNC’s Megyn Kelly Analyzes AZ Immigration Law, Finds Less Stringent Than Federal Law

On Thursday’s The O’Reilly Factor, FNC’s Megyn Kelly appeared to give her take on the Arizona immigration law that the has so upset the left in America, relaying her conclusion that the law actually holds the police to higher standards against racial discrimination and the conditions under which police can enforce the law than current federal laws. Kelly: "And my legal opinion is, it is a little bit like the federal law, but if anything, it's less problematic. Did you know that the Supreme Court already ruled a few years ago that under federal law, cops can pull you over for no reason and demand to see your immigration papers? For no reason. They don't have to have reasonable suspicion."
She went on to recount a relevant Supreme Court case:
And the court, this was written by then-Chief Justice Rehnquist who said in that case, hold on, let me get it because it's here in front of me some place. He said the officers did not need reasonable suspicion to ask Menia for her name, date, and place of birth, or immigration status. The cops do not need reasonable suspicion to ask you about immigration status. Under Arizona law, they do.

Sounds like the Liberals are barking up the wrong tree...maybe California and the rest of the left wing nuts need to Boycott Obama. Hey AZ...get with the program and get tougher on your illegal immigration and start asking for their papers like the feds do without probable cause. :wink2:

Last week the new Maricopa County Attorney (a liberal) said that they are only going to prosecute the "most dangerous criminal aliens". WHAT! This will incur the wrath of the voters come November. The candidate for Attorney General had to resign his position as County Attorney to run for office. I am sure he will get in, and the current County Attorney will be voted out!

I am astounded that these liberals do not represent the people who will vote. It is almost like they have a death wish (for being fired by the voters)!!!!
