You can't have "just girl talk" when you are not speaking only to girls. Mine was just "guy" talk not sexist at all. Just the way we talk around the golf course/bar/sporting events/church potlucks and on and on and on.:happy-very::peaceful:

You may talk that way, but not all men do.

California is so full of crap screaming boycott AZ., when 50-60% of Californians are in favor of the AZ. bill and would like the same thing in their state.

Boycott means no AZ. no time!! Keep your Lakers home! Give up the NBA title or you are just making noise and don't really mean it! Put your action where your mouth is!

First thing first! You gotta love Texans, Texas, and anyone from the South. My wife spent her first 12 years in the Houston area and she can still pull the accent off. When she moved to CA the kids teased her so she worked hard to get rid of the accent:sad-very:. It drives me crazy when she calls it up once in a blue moon!!! :crazy2:

I heard that Massachusetts just passed a bill in the Senate to show legal status (ID) before any person can get assistance from the government - welfare - food stamps - education - hospital care !!!! NOW, I would like to see THAT added to Arizona's law along with taking away the privilege of becoming a citizen if you are born here from an illegal mother.
Unfortunately.... the governor said he would veto the bill if it gets to his desk.

Here is the real rub..... most of the senators are Democrats. I think there are 25 Dems and only 5 Republicans! I have changed my opinion of Massachusetts and this just re-enforces it! GO MASS.

You must have put the word religion in for a reason, whatever. LOL, and making a big deal out of one word seems to be you specialty. Here's one word that describes you, hypocrite. Ouh, what an offense. anyway, back on topic.
No excuse, just my use of the words race and national origin in this thread, or anytime I use them. If this doesn't fit you use of them, sorry.
Race: (for definition purposes; people belonging to a specific ethnicity such as : Hispanic friend, relating to, or being a person of Latin American descent living in the United States; especially : one of Cuban, Mexican, or Puerto Rican origin).
Nationality: citizens of a given country or nation. This includes people of any ethnicity living or coming from a given country or nation.
Mexico, just as the US, has people of all races(ethnicity), they are either Mexican citizens or US citizens. There are white Mexicans, black Mexicans, Mexicans of German decent, none of which are Hispanic.
Is't pretty simple, prejudice toward anyone because of their ethnicity is wrong Wrong and Racist. However, SB1070 addresses illegal immigrants of ANY nationality that does not have the proper papers to be in the US, just the same as US law does, regardless of the individuals ethnicity. This is what I have been saying all along.

Sorry, not racist. Nationalist, yes...racist nope.
There are many Americans that are of Mexican decent, if these people are discriminated against for the reason of that ancestry then that is racism(2nd) Discrimination against illegals from Mexico is not racism(3rd) Texan, I don‘t know if you can read, and if you know the definition of “Discrimination.“ What do you mean by discrimination against illegals from Mexico? I’m reading between the sentences.
That's your problem, you read things that are not there. Just read the words, all of them. There is nothing between the sentences except blank background.
When you put a period you let one idea concluded, and the next sentence goes along with the past one. You know that, don’t you?
Oh, now this is cherry, lol. YOU are lecturing ME on sentence and paragraph structure? what a huge laugh. Hahahahahaha!
If these people (Illegals from Mexico) are discriminated because of their ancestry or Ethnicity that is racism too, Cowboy.
That's what I have been saying, DippyDoDawg. Look, I am not saying it is OK to discriminate against anyone, I‘m glad. But the absurdity of your sentence doesn‘t reflect that, just showing that there is a difference between Mexicans (Living in Mexico?) (from Mexico) Of course a Mexican is from Mexico and Hispanics(from all over the globe), You’re wrong, there’s no such thing as Mexican Hispanics, or Argentinean Hispanics, or Chilean Hispanics. If you’re Hispanic you’re Hispanic, and that’s it. And read at the bottom where I’ve written about the jurisdictional rights for illegal Mexicans before you respond.
That’s where illegals immigrants rights come to the scene. Your third sentence would be right if it was to be written as the second.
Wrong again DDD, My third sentence is fine as I typed it. Discrimination against illegals from Mexico is not racism, it is based on where they are from not their ethnicity. I didn't say it was OK, just that it was not racism I‘m glad you think like this. Hey, what happened with the definition I gave you? Discrimination: treating people differently through prejudice: unfair treatment of one person or group, usually because of prejudice about race, ethnicity, age, religion, or gender. OK, if you want me to read sentence by sentence leaving the idea of the others behind: “Discrimination against illegals from Mexico is not racism” - Discrimination (You could discriminate others because of race, discrimination includes that, I hope it’s clear, and I hope you understand why the word religion appeared here) against ilegals from Mexico (Illegal Mexicans are Hispanic, too!) They have an Ethnicity (And according to the United Nations, there is no distinction between the term racial discrimination and ethnic discrimination, just so you know.)
They’re included in terms of law, they have the rights because they‘re living under a jurisdiction of the United States of America, or how you think they would fill the Census Form? Do you consider yourself: 1)White 2)Black 3)Illegal Allien from Mexico 4)Illegal Alien from El Salvador 5)….. NO! is not racism. (It can include racism, age, religion or gender, for GOD’s sake! Or the energy of the universe‘s sake or whatever, I don‘t care you religious beliefs) Now, what’s discrimination for you? Not accepting a taco offered by an illegal Mexican immigrant? Or not saying “bless you” when an illegal Mexican sneezes? You can’t express the difference between race and nationality in that sentence, because it’s absurd.

Please don’t use Nationalism as a means to mask racism, it’s not logical.
What is illogical is to think they are the same. I have never mention something that accredits me to this.
There are black, white, Caucasian, and the mostly suspicious brownies, all of them Hispanics or Mexican illegals.
They can be Hispanics, yea.
You left a few out though, there are also black, white, Caucasian and darker skinned people that are from Mexico but are NOT Hispanic. I’ve already told you, under legal jurisdiction, if they‘re living here, they are Hispanic or Latino Americans.People from these groups can be illegal immigrants as well. Good, good. SB1070 includes those people.
And remember is not only about Latinos or Hispanics, as bbsam stated to you. Enforcing immigration laws is not discrimination Depends on how you enforce them, and that‘s the main point we all haven‘t been able to get through because of all these big deals you make.
Ahhhh, we may be getting somewhere, but maybe not. Does it depend on "how" the law is enforced or what the law says? The answer to this question is pivotal.
Put you race card back in your pocket, you will want it again. and again and again.
Ya see, that is why I won’t be next. I carry my DL (government photo ID) with me, everywhere I go. And here is a news flash for you, it’s NOTHING new. This has been the norm since way before you were born and the burden of proof is always going to be around. Haven’t seen a police officer asking for Passport before, oh yes, Arpaio, sorry. Nice try DippyDoDawg, that is NOT what I was guessing about. If you don’t know that you do need help. I was “guessing” on the reason for removing the word “solely” from the text of the law because they new idiots would try the twist that to construe profiling was to be condoned.

You totally can’t see beyond your little circle.
What little circle are you talking about?
Give more power to police. I hope it never gets to the point where these type of laws will be the reason that’ll make open your eyes. No one would try to twist nothing, the law itself is very explanatory of its prejudice, that‘s why they made all the changes, because they got afraid.
Here ya go gain, making crap up. Is the law prejudiced NOW(if so, what part?), or was it just before they changed it? I’ve already answered that one. Remember you didn’t want to look it up, you just didn’t want to give your part.
Even the attorneys recommended Ms. Brewer not to sign it.
What attorney's? Source please. The one and Only Rick Romley. I think he has several good ideas for all these kidnappers, rapists, thieves, or these types of criminals mentioned in these posts (Which I believe are not only Illegal Aliens).
If it means what I think it does, you are unwilling to accept any point of view than you own? If that is the case, why am I wasting my time?
What does it mean, Cowboy? And yes, no irrational points of view. I won’t never understand how in the world people from other nations don’t have a race. And don’t say I’m the irrational one, I’m just repeating your perspective.
Actually you are misreading my perspective. I didn't say you were irrational, I said you were illogical because you are. Of course people of all nations have a race,(everyone has a race) but it isn't always the same as their race (ethnicity). What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?Tell me something, do you consider Amrican as a race? Are you serious? Actually, you’d be surprised because I could consider an American an inhabitant of the continent of America, by saying this I say all the land comprising North, Central and South America. Jump in, demonize me. It comes to my mind, that slogan from the Monroe Doctrine that says: “America for the Americans.” (Specifying, all the habitants of the continent America. But, of course, as we refer it mainly, people from the United States, and this: We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people." Theodore Roosevelt- That’s an American, and I would add American people defend the ideas of our Founding Fathers before anything else. By the way, that phrase by our President Theodore Roosevelt, was in 1919, one year after World War I, so you have to understand the logic of the sentence by the time in which it was written and to whom it was written. And yes Americans have several races, but American as a whole is not a race, but an American could be subject to racism, too, just like any person from another country; using the logic of the United Nations, in which the United States of America and Mexico are included.

If you don’t understand the word discrimination, then you won’t be able to debate about the stupid law SB1070. May be you’d be a heck of a good governor of Arizona. Or a Sheriff may be.
Since I know you won’t look it up, I wonder if someone could pull out the definition of the word “Discrimination.”
Already replied to this nonsense.

Those who oppose SB1070 in Arizona have had their say. With sporadic outbursts of violence, shouting and civil disobedience, they have made their intentions clear - that enforcement of the law is not a top priority for them.

The rally is called Phoenix Rising for a reason. On this day Americans will come together and watch as the Phoenix rises from the ashes of non-enforcement of our immigration laws that has gone on for decades. They will stand for the rule of law and in support of Arizona and its new law SB1070. They will call for a groundswell of other states to take on the duty our federal government has failed to uphold.

The federal government has been shirking its duty for far too long as Americans have carried the burden of their lack of action. All the while Americans have been demanding that our laws be enforced - and we have been ignored.

Time for some real change instead of hopeless talk!:peaceful:

yes the governor is against it, along with the leader of the house and the president of the senate who hasn't read it yet.
It is part of the budget, which is now in committee, made up of 2 appointed by the leader of the house, 2 appointed by the senate leader, 1 each from the GOP from the house and senate. Chances of this being on the final budget bill..........slim to none.

SDPD: 7 Arrested After Caught Unloading 2 Tons Of Pot Second Boat Found At Dog Beach, 13 Arrested
LA JOLLA, Calif. – Drug smugglers were caught early Tuesday, unloading about 2 tons of marijuana from a boat in La Jolla, and 13 illegal aliens were arrested on Dog Beach in Ocean Beach about an hour later as a crowd scattered from another boat that came ashore there, police said.
The drug-smuggling boat at Wind and Sea Beach, near Neptune Place and Palomar Avenue, was reported at 1:23 a.m., San Diego police Sgt. David Jennings said.

Police said Border Patrol agents were watching the boat and saw the smugglers unload it, then run off into a residential neighborhood. Border Patrol agents, along with SDPD officers, rounded up seven people, according to police.
At Dog Beach, as many as 40 people were reported running away from a boat near the 2200 block of Abbott Street at 2:37 a.m., Jennings said.
According to Border Patrol Agent Jose Morales, 13 illegal aliens were rounded up at Dog Beach. It was unclear how many got away. There were no drugs found aboard that vessel, he said.
Jennings said the initial report of 40 people appeared to be on the high side.

You have two families: "Joe Legal" and "Joey Illegal".

Both families have two parents, two children, and live in California .

Joe Legal works in construction, has a Social Security Number and makes $25.00 per hour with taxes deducted.

Joey Illegal also works in construction, has NO Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash "under the table".

Ready? Now pay attention...

Joe Legal: $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00 per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax; Joe Legal now has $31,231.00.

Joey Illegal: $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or $31,200.00 per year. Joey Illegal pays no taxes. Joey Illegal now has
$31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $24,031.00.

Joey Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and local clinics at a cost of $0.00 per year. Joey Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare. Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $18,031.00.

Joey Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps and welfare. Joey Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $9,631.00.

Joey Illegal receives a $500.00 per month federal rent subsidy. Joey Illegal pays out that $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year. Joey Illegal still has $ 31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays $200.00 per month, or $2,400.00 for insurance. Joe Legal now has $7,231.00.

Joey Illegal says, "We don't need any insurance!" and still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal has to make his $7,231.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, etc.

Joey Illegal has to make his $31,200.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, and what he sends out of the country every month.

Joe Legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job after work.

Joey Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family.

Joe Legal's and Joey Illegal's children both attend the same school. Joe Legal pays for his children's lunches while Joey Illegal's children get a government sponsored lunch. Joey Illegal's children have an after school ESL program. Joe Legal's children go home.

Joe Legal and Joey Illegal both enjoy the same police and fire services, but Joe paid for them and Joey did not pay.

Do you get it, now?

If you vote for or support any politician that supports illegal aliens...

You are part of the problem!

It's way PAST time to take a stand for America and Americans!
