Arizona's anti-imigration law...

It would be interesting to know the %s of illegals actually doing the cleaning and landscaping as opposed to the crimes that have been reported and how that compares in dollar value and cost.

You also have to factor in the US greenbacks that are sent back to Mexico every year....some of which are being given to coyotes to bring more illegals over our border! $10 BILLION plus is being sent back just to Mexico! On a side note.... you have the negative effects of drug dependency that cost our citizens lost wages, incarceration costs, etc.

It is a vicious circle with no real benefit to the US but plenty of benefit for Mexico. We need to get some real leaders in Washington who will fix this problem.

Oh believe me I haven't forgotten about that either.
For some reason I get the idea that it is more profitable for those "close" to the decision makers to keep fighting the war on drugs (no side arguments please) than to actually WIN that war.

Actually, I will almost defend Lifer here.....

So, no lifer, I don't google american politics or news. It's on my TV here , right at home. Or in Canadian media.
... Just proving my point, that we do have knowledge of what's going on south of us.

Let's get real specific here.... just who are you blaming for mixing up Arlington TEXAS with Arlington National Cemetery in VIRGINIA?

Screw it, my honest mistake. I never did look further into it, where a cementery lies or not.
But, you folks make it seem like it's soo precious, that a president can't miss it on Memorial Day.
However, the republican "GOD" , Reagan, missed it 4 out of 8 years in his presidency. !

So, you have nothing to put much of a value on it, and then turn around.... and dismise Obama over it, when in the past it was ok, for republican presidents not to attend it.

Where were most americans on their holiday off ? At church services, or at war cementeries...?
Make a poll. I dare you.

You really have issues Cowboy. Please define to me the word Discrimination. Then, I think you’d be able to talk. You know how that statement about “discrimination against illegals from Mexico is not racism” started. It’d be interesting if you would accept that you were the one that started with the “dampbacks” or “wetguys” or whatever word. Look for the ******** those little stars are the word, and you hid it in a reply, on page 32, you didn’t get away with that one Texan. They banned it from the thread. It’s not about typing slowly, it’s about typing rationally. If you type slowly, we won’t be able to see that, come on…:wink2: I know the difference between Race and National Origin, but I don’t use that as an excuse to not categorize any prejudice towards an Ethnicity. As if illegals don’t have any race… That’s your logic. You haven’t mentioned religion Cowboy, you just gave an irrational statement about discrimination. And I won’t tell you more about that because you won’t be able to see the absurdity of your definition about discrimination. I don’t care what are your religious beliefs, your favorite food, your sexual preferences, or whatever about your personal life. So don’t make a big deal out of one word.
Sorry, not racist. Nationalist, yes...racist nope.
There are many Americans that are of Mexican decent, if these people are discriminated against for the reason of that ancestry then that is racism(2nd) Discrimination against illegals from Mexico is not racism(3rd)
Texan, I don‘t know if you can read, and if you know the definition of “Discrimination.“ What do you mean by discrimination against illegals from Mexico? I’m reading between the sentences. When you put a period you let one idea concluded, and the next sentence goes along with the past one. You know that, don’t you? If these people (Illegals from Mexico) are discriminated because of their ancestry or Ethnicity that is racism too, Cowboy. That’s where illegals immigrants rights come to the scene. Your third sentence would be right if it was to be written as the second. Please don’t use Nationalism as a means to mask racism, it’s not logical. There are black, white, Caucasian, and the mostly suspicious brownies, all of them Hispanics or Mexican illegals. And remember is not only about Latinos or Hispanics, as bbsam stated to you. Enforcing immigration laws is not discrimination Depends on how you enforce them, and that‘s the main point we all haven‘t been able to get through because of all these big deals you make. Put you race card back in your pocket, you will want it again. and again and again.

Ya see, that is why I won’t be next. I carry my DL (government photo ID) with me, everywhere I go. And here is a news flash for you, it’s NOTHING new. This has been the norm since way before you were born and the burden of proof is always going to be around. Nice try DippyDoDawg, that is NOT what I was guessing about. If you don’t know that you do need help. I was “guessing” on the reason for removing the word “solely” from the text of the law because they new idiots would try the twist that to construe profiling was to be condoned.

You totally can’t see beyond your little circle. Give more power to police. I hope it never gets to the point where these type of laws will be the reason that’ll make open your eyes. No one would try to twist nothing, the law itself is very explanatory of its prejudice, that‘s why they made all the changes, because they got afraid. Even the attorneys recommended Ms. Brewer not to sign it.
If it means what I think it does, you are unwilling to accept any point of view than you own? If that is the case, why am I wasting my time?
What does it mean, Cowboy? And yes, no irrational points of view. I won’t never understand how in the world people from other nations don’t have a race. And don’t say I’m the irrational one, I’m just repeating your perspective.

If you don’t understand the word discrimination, then you won’t be able to debate about the stupid law SB1070. May be you’d be a heck of a good governor of Arizona. Or a Sheriff may be.
Since I know you won’t look it up, I wonder if someone could pull out the definition of the word “Discrimination.”
With the wording of the law including the anti-profiling language some many different places and time, it’s pretty obvious that stopping someone based on R,C or NO is not allowed. Real kind words, but they're just words. We don't need the kind words of Ms. Brewer, because a signature doesn't care about words. If this means what I think it does, you are unwilling to accept any point of view than your won? If that is the case, why am I wasting my time?

I wonder if some of you got an e-mail in 2006 from Mr. Rusell Pearce the author of SB1070. Don't say he didn't write the law, I know he's not offical accredited for it, but he wrote it. It's a fact. Now, I know why some people call it the Nazizona state.

Before I respond to the rest of you post, lets agree on the definition of the word, I'll let you choose.
Main Entry: dis·crim·i·na·tion
Pronunciation: \dis-ˌkri-mə-ˈnā-shən\
Function: noun
Date: 1648
1 a : the act of discriminating b : the process by which two stimuli differing in some aspect are responded to differently
2 : the quality or power of finely distinguishing
3 a : the act, practice, or an instance of discriminating categorically rather than individually b : prejudiced or prejudicial outlook, action, or treatment <racial discrimination>
Just so we are on the same page.

Oh, I think I may have identified (at least) part of the asinine claims you are making. Tell me, please...is this what you are refering to on page #32?
Part of the 5 seeing habits is to "Get the big picture"....so while my Mexican hating, anti-spanish, right winger friends here post their little trivial l'il stories, links and ******* pictures,

Go ahead Texan. But, those definitions are too general. Take this one:
Discrimination: treating people differently through prejudice: unfair treatment of one person or group, usually because of prejudice about race, ethnicity, age, religion, or gender.

Hahahahahaha! They should be speeding on the freeway, so they have a reasonable stop, and then they would be able to ask for an ID. I don't think they would be asked for an ID while they're working. Would they?

Never heard of Russel Pearce. If he is not accreditied, please tell us how you know he authored SB1070? Did he tell you in an Email?

Never heard of Russell Pearce, dude? You read things without knowing who wrote them? Man, would you be reading a book without knowing the author. My goodness!
Nah, I didn't get an e-mail from him, I thought you would have.
How I know he wrote the law? Because when he was asked about the law, he said he wrote it. Anybody doing his research would know that.

Sorry, I was using Merriam-Webster's dictionary. OK we will use your definition, where ever you go it.

Ooooooooooouh. What did you add to that post, so Hoaxster had to edit it, Texan? Those were not your words, Cowboy, it was only one.

Guess what DippyDoDawg, that came from your buddy Diesel96's post #470, and after I quoted it, Hoaxser edited out of the original post, I guess because it was complained about as being a racist remark. Those were NOT MY words genius.

Hey hey, Cowboy, why don't you do a research about Russell Pearce before you reply? How can you still be defending a law, without not even knowing who wrote it?

Sorry, I was using Merriam-Webster's dictionary. OK we will use your definition, where ever you go it.

I live in Texas, why would I be getting email from an Az State Senator? I've only been to AZ twice. I knew the law was written by Az St Senators, but I didn't know their names. Frankly, their names didn't matter to me.
