Arizona's anti-imigration law...

PHOENIX — Attorney General Terry Goddard says Friday that his office plans to withdraw as the state’s lawyers in legal challenges to Arizona’s new immigration law.

Sounds a lot like what is happening in Calif, elected public lawyers not wanting to do their jobs. They are paid to fight for the laws of all the people, not just the ones they agree with.

32 ILLEGALS from 8 countries found at Phoenix drop house

Officials: 32 undocumented immigrants from 8 countries found at Phoenix drop house

Deborah Stocks
PHOENIX –
Three suspected human smugglers appeared in federal court Friday after an investigation into a Phoenix drop house uncovered undocumented immigrants from eight countries earlier this week.
According to a news release from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE agents identified a possible drop house in the area of 89th Avenue and Thomas Road where on Wednesday they saw Samuel Antonio Vasquez pull into the garage in one vehicle and leave hours later in a different car.
Agents reportedly stopped the vehicle and found three Chinese females hiding under a blanket in the back seat. Vasquez, a 25-year-old citizen of Mexico, was arrested and the women were detained.
Agents returned to the drop house where they found an additional 29 border crossers from India, Ecuador, Brazil, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.

Hiring ILLEGALS is a ‘minor offense’ Says Judge

Judge criticizes prosecution of Homeland Security official and postpones sentencing

By Jonathan Saltzman

A federal judge rebuked the government today for prosecuting a Department of Homeland Security official who employed an illegal immigrant as her housekeeper, saying prosecutors had been “overreaching” and “crushed” the defendant for what he characterized as a minor offense.
After unusually harsh criticism of prosecutors, US District Court Judge Douglas P. Woodlock postponed the sentencing of Lorraine Henderson until he decides whether to grant a motion by her lawyers to set aside the verdict and acquit her. Henderson was convicted in March of deliberately encouraging her Brazilian housekeeper to stay in the country illegally.

Lorraine Henderson is the Director of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for the Port of Boston. She has served in a variety of customs roles since 1975. Most recently she was the Branch Chief in the Commissioner's Situation Room at CBP Headquarters. Prior to this she was Customs' Port Director at Washington-Dulles Airport. During her tenure at Customs, she has also served as an inspector and enforcement aide.

But having a good cheap house cleaner is more important.

Roughly 3,500 acres of the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge -- about 3 percent of the 118,000-acre park -- have been closed since Oct. 6, 2006, when U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service officials acknowledged a marked increase in violence along a tract of land that extends north from the border for roughly three-quarters of a mile. Federal officials say they have no plans to reopen the area.

Five Federal Lands in Arizona Have Travel Warnings in Place

Imagine the federal government closing a section of the Lincoln Memorial because it was under the control of Mexican drug lords and bands of illegal immigrants.
That scenario is playing out as reality in southern Arizona, where parts of five federal lands -- including two designated national monuments -- continue to post travel warnings or be outright closed to Americans who own the land because of the dangers of "human and drug trafficking" along the Mexican border.

You are way to kind!! But I do respect that. Unfortunately, the top donkey brings out the very worst in my emotions and I do regret that. I have never been so polarized ... and it all happened this past year. :dissapointed:

Clinton: Obama Administration To Sue Arizona Over Immigration Law

A video of Clinton's June 8 interview was distributed by the American Civil Liberties Union, which has been calling for a federal lawsuit, the Post said. Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer said she was "stunned and angered" to hear of Clinton's remarks, CNN reported. If the federal government intends to sue, Brewer said, "the least it can do is inform us before it informs the citizens of another nation."

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer refused to flinch after Obama administration officials confirmed Friday that they plan to file a lawsuit challenging the state's anti-illegal immigration law.

maybe Gov Brewer should up-the-stakes here; in this game of legalize it's about time for her to silence barry & crew , pass another law demanding barry open all of his sealed records.
Then invite barry down to Az, and have the local cops pull him over & demand to see his papers.

They're already working on a bill to outlaw anchor babies, it's kinda sorta the same. lol

What I find incredible is that the Federal law is a bit stronger than the AZ. law and the federal gov't wants to sue AZ. That doesn't EVEN make sense.
