Do any of you feeder guys use a phone based APP Trucker GPS's program? I know dispatch gives you directions but do you use one as a safety net for when getting detoured etc?

Google Maps is about all you need if you get in a pinch. Cracks me up to go into the truck stops and see how much those Garmin units are. I hate to say it, but Google is all you need. Type in the address, or just the city and you can get two or three different routes, with miles and time differences. Pretty cool stuff for a free app.

Just remember to close it up when you've got your way, because she will continue to interrupt your music, podcasts or your porn with voice directions that will drain your battery.

Go into any loves truck stop and 90% of the non food items are mostly fluff... just a way to take more of a truckers hard earned mo money imo...
