What does that switch look like ... maybe snap a pic for us...
That is on the internationals or kenworths??In ours it's in a group of 3 switches next to the key, right of the switch that turns on the floor lights and cab lights.

Ok I’ll look for it tonite... try it outKenworth's
there's a switch that will turn the brake lights on and apply air to the service brakes. You have to turn your key on, then flip the switch, then you can take your key out and do your pretrip. The brake lights will stay on and the air will too.
The switch that rotates flashing all your lights? That supplies air to the service brakes too?In ours it's in a group of 3 switches next to the key, right of the switch that turns on the floor lights and cab lights.
Have you worked any nights yet??? Are you liking it??Training
But again, like most rentals, that defeats the purpose of checking for air leaks. The Light Test button doesn't engage the service line brakes.

No nights yet but I love it!Have you worked any nights yet??? Are you liking it??
My buddy also has a Kenworth just a couple numbers off from mine. His doesnt have the switch, but his handvalve does stay down. No, it's not the light test switch. Seperate switch that turns the brake lights on AND supplies air to the service (blue) line.
