there's a switch that will turn the brake lights on and apply air to the service brakes. You have to turn your key on, then flip the switch, then you can take your key out and do your pretrip. The brake lights will stay on and the air will too.
In ours it's in a group of 3 switches next to the key, right of the switch that turns on the floor lights and cab lights.
The switch that rotates flashing all your lights? That supplies air to the service brakes too?

But again, like most rentals, that defeats the purpose of checking for air leaks. The Light Test button doesn't engage the service line brakes.

No, it's not the light test switch. Seperate switch that turns the brake lights on AND supplies air to the service (blue) line.
