For sure, but I think being away from home a lot when you know you already have a struggling marriage is probably a bad idea. You just gotta know your situation as best you can.Happened to me in package, happens to people in all kinds of career fields. 24 hour shifts, 9-5 jobs, night workers, you and I both know people this has happened to with almost any schedule.
That ship has already sailedLet’s go back to all brown trucks.
Are these the same sleepers also working 3 additional days in top of their run?All depends man, I know a few guys that are gone for just over 3 days, 75 - 80 hours. They make make $140k+ and have far more time off than I do.
This will catch up to him eventually. Are these the same sleepers also working 3 additional days in top of their run?
I know a guy on my hub who basically sleeps on his car because of this.
sleeper run 3 days then extra work on Sun, Fri and Sat
My run two runs ago went to Montana. The fastest Speed limit I saw was 75 but my tractor only does 70 :/Believe Montana also...another reason why you won't catch my ass out on sleepers.
I weigh less in sleepers than I did when I was in a brown.Sleeper team drivers make regular feeder drivers look like they have Anorexia.
Nah, just like anything.= it's what you make of it.What a miserable life
I made $135k last year running 4,000 miles or less last year. We rarely worked over 72 hours. My new run is 3714 miles and our schedule is 66 hours, not even three days. He's cheating CPAP usage
Log book says he’s sleepingHe's cheating CPAP usage
I’m assuming he’s supposed to log the time he’s using it when sleeping? Never used one, don’t need it….. yet. He's cheating CPAP usage
It autologs with myAir. All he really has to do is use it for 4 hours minimum, they don't look into it too muchI’m assuming he’s supposed to log the time he’s using it when sleeping? Never used one, don’t need it….. yet.
The newer ones have a memory chip in them that sends when it’s being used right to your Dr.I’m assuming he’s supposed to log the time he’s using it when sleeping? Never used one, don’t need it….. yet.

Christ. I can only imagine what would happen if a state trooper caught him doing that. The newer ones have a memory chip in them that sends when it’s being used right to your Dr.
Yeah, exactly. And here I am cramming a week's worth of yardwork, housework, laundry, and drinking into a day and a half on the weekends....just to start it all over.I weigh less in sleepers than I did when I was in a brown.

Only 22 year FT (30.5 total PT+FT) but I’m number 40 out of 430 at EZRPA. We have 27 sleeper teams and I think I’m the 8th A driver.Gravy run. You must be pretty senior.
