Contractually that they give x amount of weeks off per week for vacations
No I did hear my son manager said it was blacking out August vacations for them.

They did that in 1997 for management too. It was great as I had taken the first two weeks as Vakay. Brought my grill and cookedburgers and brats for two weeks on the line

My wife and I always take middle of the month vacations. The owning of businesses book work always seems to gum up the first and last weeks of every month.

I don’t plan to pick vacations based on a possible strike. I had already planned to pick a certain time in the fall so I’m just gonna stick with that.

Because I got mixed answers from many people

Some people do not want to miss a paycheck or a pension credit and other people will be happy to extend their vacation

If drivers are worried about missing a few weeks pay we are screwed.

You make 100k a year. You can't put $25 a week into a separate savings account? The credit union can be automatically deposited from your pay. You won’t even miss it.

I make more than that, and I put more than that away in my strike fund, close to 8k in mine still 10 months left..
