I agree with you to a certain extent. There are probably 30-40 breweries that put out a pumpkin beer every year. This is the only one I've found I like.

At certain times of the year, all companies try to put pumpkin in everything..........my coffee, my pie, my cake, my loaf of bread........I really don't want pumpkin in anything.
I will eat a piece of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving, but that's it !!!!

Pumpkin ale is one thing..some are good. But pumpkin has no business in my coffee, bread.... ice cream...etc.

Blue Point pumpkin ale is my favorite...and Saranac comes highly recommended also...I'm buying that one tomorrow.
