Just different sides of the same coin ... that could be perceived by some as different universes.
Hannity is in the Conservative universe and Maddow is in the Liberal universe.
Neither is excused from their persistent lying and misrepresentation of the facts.

I no longer consider CNN to be a credible news source ... along with Faux and MSNBC which I never did.
Entertaining and amusing but basically liars.
But how do you know that if you don't watch?

I do watch until they start lying and then I turn ... neither takes long.
Unfortunately Sean is opposite Rachel and Fox Business shows some "Inheritance" show which leaves CNN, OAN and local news ... I usually watch local news over any of the National News Channels.
Tonight I will watch the CNN channel as they have a show on songs that came out of 9/11. Billy Joel will be one of the featured guests and talking about his song "A NY State of Mind" which took on a different meaning after 9/11.
Care to cite particular lies? The problem I have with your statement is that liberal watchdog groups like MoveOn.org carefully monitor everything Sean says. He made a mistake about something last year that he retracted after being called on it. But this idea that he spouts lies all the time isn't so because said groups would be constantly denouncing him in public. If it's just something you disagree with then maybe you should give it a closer look to see if he's accurate.

Not really. In the end they each want the rest of us to live as they say and neither has any reservations about using the State to achieve those ends.

I don't keep track of him but I will start a thread ... btw, excess spin is a lie when done deliberately.
Both of them accuse others of lying when others are just spinning the truth.
When I run across his or Rachel's "lies", I will post in that thread.
Others are welcome to post lies as well.
No, one wants cradle to grave state control, the other wants limited government with freedom only limited by our own abilities. One wants to demonize with identity politics, the other points out the demonization as the only argument the other side seems to have, and it's deceit.

You've yet to fully grasp the idea of what liberty and freedom really are. If you did that example you gave above, you'd understand how fallacious it really is.
Well explain it to me oh wise one! For me freedom is to be able to speak one's mind without fear of retribution. To have self determination. To choose to live in a high cost country and struggle or to leave it with a hard earned pension and enjoy my last years in a low cost country. To be able to worship as I believe without others putting restrictions on my right to do so(as long as I'm not hurting anyone). To not have anyone put their boot on my neck because they believe in controlling others for the good of everyone because they're brainwashed into believing what's politically correct behavior that all must conform to. And so on, and so on...
