So true.I don't mind it all that much either.
What I don't like however is delivering 5OO+/- pkgs. to the PO every day while only getting credit for a hundred.
Make scratch, I haven't attempted to do that in probably 10 years with imaginary numbers. Try to stay an hour under, that seems to be the happy spot staying off the radar nowadays. If im more than hour over, oh well life goes on, always tomorrow lol.So true.
And it is the smallest, lightest 500 packages...making it even harder to be scratch, as well as wearing down your body since the average size and weight becomes much bigger.
we have a couple. And the one cover driver was told he wasn't allowed to use the radio in it since it was an in cab distraction. WTF?!?!??
At leaat they're attempting to "prepare". Last year...they were borrowing PC's from another building 60 miles away...and we still didn't have enough. Now if they could just build yet another belt so we'd have a place to load all the extra peak routes. That's seriously ridiculous. It's september.
Sounds like a Christmas jingle. All those stupid message,DIADs beeping and green lights going off.........
I had two 5 gallon buckets of some kind of soap PAL'd as surepost to a PO yesterday. Surepost irregs now?friend'ing hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!
Every driver has been whining and crying about Surepost diverting packages/stops from drivers and now that the volume is being brought back in-house, drivers are bitching about Surepost not being delivered to the post Office.
That's just precious! LMFAO
Are job security is improving by the day. They probably aren't looking to fire as many peoe now a days.Today my building had to rent trucks to handle everything. It already looks like peak with the rentals in the yard and it is only September! Wahoo!!!!
It takes a while for the new one million customers signed up to Surepost to learn what is allowed and not.I had two 5 gallon buckets of some kind of soap PAL'd as surepost to a PO yesterday. Surepost irregs now?
Weird. This has been the lightest week of the year in my center. I've been done at 5:30 each day. Which stinks since I need the overtime.
No doubt dude, punching out at 10pm and home by 11pm nowadays is definitely better than some of them super late nights back in the day lol.
I remember a BBQ catered event at the end of shift... I made a plate and threw it in the trash as I walked out....

My boxline is screwed!!!! Every new driver they put on the past 6months is horrible!!!!!!! Usually they can find a couple gems, but not this time!!!None of them out of about 10 can do a full route....
That'll screw you every time!I'll bet they were all off the street hires.
Honestly no.....all PTers....some with under a year though.....just a sad state of affairs with the younger generation of employeesI'll bet they were all off the street hires.
