Bragging About Your Wages On Social Media Is Just Dumb!

True, and I think you see my point. Anyone can be a UPS driver. Not everyone can be an electrician, plumber, etc. They need a very special skillset. We don't. We just have long hours and harassment. But we make over $40/hr at full rate.

Anyone? Don’t you think you might want to change that word?

I’ve seen a lot of not anyone’s not make it. Including some that even qualified and still didn’t make it much more than a couple years. Most jobs that have anything to do with working with your hands or some sort of physical labor take a special kind of person to make it. No Amount of training can overcome someone’s desire including a lack there of.

Psssst...we know how much they make...

thanks for helping though...

see something say something or post it on social media just in case...
Pssst, most people don’t want to work at UPS no matter how much we make….

And that includes even more now than ever the joke that is a Management job!

That’s the dirty little secret that should be on social media.

Thanks for helping though.

If the driving position is so easy why is there a 4 year progression to reach full scale?

Because the Union caved.

Similar to a plumber, electrician or mechanic who go through a apprenticeship program, in fact very similar to a 4 year program at college.

Not even close. It takes 4 or more years to master a trade. After 30 days, a UPS driver basically has learned everything except maybe a little area knowledge.

What are the skill levels required to become an executive by the way...?

Usually at least a college degree.

I agree. But that has nothing to do with the skillset required. They just couldn't handle the long hours a physical exertion. We drive a truck and deliver cardboard.

They’re not even close to what you make. Going into management used to be somewhat lucrative and I can understand why some did it,I cannot understand anymore. Unless they plan on leaving and having it on a résumé.
When I started the lowest paid supervisor had to make more than the highest paid driver

I guarantee you that's not the case anymore
