Klein, not to slam you in any way, but you should know better than this. A former guest discount only applies to an actual former guest, the only way it can be of use by anyone else is if they are in the same cabin with former guest. You can't sell it, loan it or share it any other way. Further, OBCs do not usually come with former guest status, just a discount in new cruises booked. BTW, Carnival owns Princess. Not sure if it will interesst anyone. But, I get former guest discount from Princess Cruises.
The eastern, western or southern Caribbean 7 day cruise would cost $849 (2010 rate), for the balcony (without group discount).
Princess is a big step up from Carnival. Fancier and bigger rooms, and ship.
They still call me every 2 months, trying to sell me a cruise.
If you guys/gals want, I can look further into it, next time they call me up.
Just let me know, if your willing to cruise more in style for the same (or just above) price as Carnival.
Then, I'll see what kind of onboard credit comes with it, and also about a possible group discount. Again, just let me know.

I have read many long time Princess cruisers say the food is better on CCL, so tell us just what makes Princess such a setp up other than in price?
As far as setpping up, why aim so low as a Princess when you can have a Queen? Cunard lines also belongs to Carnival Lines.
We've been on several cruises, a few different lines. All I can say is, Carnival definitely is "The Fun Ship"!
[-]He[/-] She wants to be known as "Garina" now.LMAO! Damn, Gary sure did change his appearance over the last week.![]()

I did that itinerary with Carnival, 12-15 years ago. Carnival stopped going to Aruba a few years ago and now are planning on adding it back in next year if not later this year. I loved that cruise, even though we missed Caracas because of *Civil unrest* in the country, they were having a small military insurgence. Our cruise was on Carnival, but they must've changed their stops......we left from San Juan and had stops at St. Thomas, Aruba, Carracas, Granada, ....not necessarily in that order.

ME too, except there were a few more of the 10-15 year old group than I wanted to live close to for a week. I still had a blast. All I can say is that I enjoyed the mix of ages on the Valor. If the wife and I wanted to make a fool of ourself trying to dance with the "young Crowd" we could.
