The local salt operation is impressive.
How did you enjoy the cruise overall. I was on that boat too. The staff seemed rushed and some of the specialty dining not up to par. The steakhouse was top notch.

I never realized how large the salt chunks were.
The cruise was great, because we went with a lot of friends and both my kids.
I'm not a big fan of the Excel class ships, just too damn big, and too many places to eat!
We always do Steakhouse (except this time!), and its always great.
The Teppanyaki was awesome, the chef ehh, ok.
Rudis kinda sucked. Got the crab cake, and it was too small to be called an entree.
Sushi place is always good, went once.
Guys, ok, not happy that they took a lot of the toppings away. I only do Guys once per cruise.
I like the buffet, always something good.
Emerils was really good.
Hate ChiBang, been twice, didnt do it this time.
Shaqs, ok for a snack.
Only did the dining room once, too many other places!
Pizza is pretty crappy on all Carnival ships, MSC had awesome pizza.
Ya, not liking the Excel ships..................and my next two cruises................are on......................Excel ships.

We were way up in the foward, long walk to everything.
I had the crab cake as well, way to salty.
We were looking at Celebrity. You pay more but everything's included like drinks. Wifi.
I've done mostly Carnival, but its been disappointing lately.
We tried MSC this year, and have RCCL booked next year.
Wifey likes her Diamond benefits, but I plan to try one new cruise line each year. I wanna sail Celebrity with Captain Kate and Bug!

Celebrity is our preferred line. The next five this year are Azamara and Royal Caribbean though. The next Celebrity is out of Tampa Feb 24 to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. May book something else before then.

A lot of complaints of cutbacks over almost all the lines the past year. Captain Kate is alright. Didnt see her much during the cruise. Some you see all over the ship.

Meal service you see the short staffing. Usually we start with a drink but hard to do that when they do not come to the table.

Only been on Royal, Celebrity, Azamara. The coworkers who tried both(Royal/Celebrity) and Carnival Id say 60% preferred Royal/Celeb. Two never went back to Carnival. Got a free cruise on Carnival? Im up for it. Carnival has upped their game the past few years.

We usually do the Haven on Norwegian. We tried Carnival to see the new boat. We had a suite but everything is still extra.

Many years ago right after you were seated a bar waiter would be right there. Now ya got to wait a bit.
The sommeliers on Celebrity are usually quick and spot on if you want wine. Even that has been cut back compared to my first cruise in 92.

Most people complain about what is included for the price you pay in the Haven. Those prices dont nickle and dime me.
